Welcome to Congregation Bais Ephraim Yitzchok

Congregation Bais Ephraim Yitzchok (CBEY), under the leadership of Rabbi Zvi & Rebbetzin Paghit Ralbag, strives to be a warm and caring community shul that encourages davening and Torah study.  Founded in 2000 in Woodmere, NY by families from varied yeshiva backgrounds, CBEY has grown to over 100 families, all dedicated to the ideal of living meaningful Jewish lives.

Pesach Cleaning the Shul

The shul is being cleaned for Pesach. Please remove any items that you have in the shul that may contain chometz.

 

Mechiras Chometz

Staring Thursday night, April 11th, Rabbi Ralbag will be available for Mechiras Chometz. The Rav will be in shul on weekday mornings until 9:00am and on weeknights from 6:00pm until 8:00pm and (not including Wed) from 9:30pm - 10:00pm. On Sunday, he will be available in shul in the morning until 10:00am and at night from 6:00pm to 8:00pm. The Rav will be available Motzai Shabbos at his home, 765 Hampton Road, from 9:00pm and on. The Rav will accommodate anyone who is not available at those time. Please text the Rav at (917) 224-9676. The Mechiras Chometz form is available here.

 

Maot Chittim

The shul is now collecting funds that will be distributed for Maot Chittim. Checks should be made out to "Congregation Bais Ephraim" with "Maot Chittim" noted in the memo section. Funds can also be given on the shuls website using "Maot Chittim" in the donation dropdown menu. The funds will be distributed locally in our community. Contributions should be given to Rabbi Ralbag.

 

Cholim List

The gabbaim are updating the Misheberach for cholim list before Pesach. If you want a choleh to be included as part of the misheberach said on Shabbos and Yom Tov, please email the name to Jeff Mann.

 

Daf Yomi,

The Daf Yomi is sponsored by the Daskal family L'zecher Nishmas Menucha Frayda bas Yaakov Yehuda (8 Nissan)
