This Shabbos, Parshas Bamidbar, CBEY will be hosting Rabbi Tsvi Selengut as part of the Shabbos of Yom Yerushalayim. Rabbi Tsvi Selengut is the Mara D'Asra of Ohab Zedek of Belle Harbor, NY. Rabbi Selengut is also a Rebbe at the Hebrew Academy of Nassau County High School (HANC) and serves as a guidance counselor there. Rabbi Selengut studied in Israel at Yeshivas Merkaz Harav, the flagship institution of Religious Zionism founded by Rav Kook ZT"L. He holds a degree in Mental Health Counseling and is a licensed therapist in private practice. He loves learning together with and inspiring people of all ages. Rabbi Selengut will give the Shabbos morning drasha. He will also speak before Mincha at 6:50pm on the topic “Geulah and Greatness in the Land of Gold: A Torah Understanding of the Development of Medinas Yisrael”.
